How Great Thou Art

A Few Photo's from Yellowstone ~ June 2008
HOW GREAT THOU ART

(Sing along with me as you scroll down)

O Lord my God, When I in awesome wonder,
Consider all the worlds Thy Hands have made;
I see the stars, I hear the rolling thunder,
Thy power throughout the universe displayed.

Then sings my soul,
My Saviour God, to Thee,
How great Thou art,
How great Thou art.
Then sings my soul,
My Saviour God, to Thee,
How great Thou art,
How great Thou art!

When through the woods,
and forest glades I wander,
And hear the birds sing sweetly in the trees.
When I look down, from lofty mountain grandeur
And see the brook, and feel the gentle breeze.

Then sings my soul,
My Saviour God, to Thee,
How great Thou art,
How great Thou art.
Then sings my soul,
My Saviour God, to Thee,
How great Thou art,
How great Thou art!

And when I think,
that God, His Son not sparing;
Sent Him to die, I scarce can take it in;
That on the Cross,
my burden gladly bearing,
He bled and died to take away my sin.

Then sings my soul,
My Saviour God, to Thee,
How great Thou art,
How great Thou art.
Then sings my soul,
My Saviour God, to Thee,
How great Thou art,
How great Thou art!

When Christ shall come,
with shout of acclamation,
And take me home,
what joy shall fill my heart.
Then I shall bow,
in humble adoration,
And then proclaim:
"My God, how great Thou art!"

Then sings my soul,
My Saviour God, to Thee,
How great Thou art,
How great Thou art.
Then sings my soul,
My Saviour God, to Thee,

How great Thou art,
How great Thou art!

I am so impressed. Your photography, your song, your devotion, your love for the Lord!
Can I put a link to your blog the New Realms site? I think this would be a blessing to a lot of people.

Oh, this is my favourite hymn and how it comes alive with your beautiful photo's.

As a teenager our family visited the CN Tower in Toronto, Ontario and as we stood in the revolving restaurant at the top of the tower, the view was magnificent. We all began to sing "How Great Thou Art". Since that time, that hymn has held a special place in my heart.

Glad I stayed for a longer visit :o)

Blessings,
